Most post-secondary students have to get Microsoft Office at some point during their studies. Free access represents a savings of over $130 for each student, making a post-secondary education just a little more affordable.
Mr. Donald DesRoches, President of Collège de l'Île, is proud of this investment. "We are providing Microsoft Office so that students will have access to the same version at home as they do at the Collège. They will also be able to access their files on multiple platforms, including mobile devices, and the Collège will keep its place at the leading edge of digital best practices."
Charles Bernard, a student in the Youth Worker program, is delighted to be able to access Microsoft Office. "It makes homework so much easier. We don't always have time in class to finish everything, and being able to work from home keeps us from falling too far behind. Being able to download Microsoft Office at home without having to buy it myself is a huge advantage."
Collège de l'Île is the only postsecondary French-language institution in Prince Edward Island. With three learning centres in DeBlois, Wellington and Charlottetown, the College offers regular programs, customized training and training based on labour market needs. It offers a stimulating, student-focused learning environment that uses cutting-edge technology.
