Wellington, PEI - July 30, 2013 – Anyone wanting to learn French, upgrade their skills or become fluently bilingual can now register for conversational French courses offered by Collège de l'Île and starting in September. Collège de l'Île offers two options: evening classes and self-directed learning.

The next series of evening courses will begin the week of September 16, 2013. They will run once a week for 11 weeks for a total of 33 hours. Deadline for registration is August 16. The conversational French programs are divided into four beginner levels, four intermediate levels, advanced courses and upgrading. They are taught using a communicative method that puts the learners at the center of their learning. Each level explores a different theme. Evening courses will be scheduled based on the majority group preference.
For those who want more flexibility in a French course, Collège de l'Île offers the program Pour l'amour du français, which adapts to each individual student's schedule by combining self-directed learning using CD-ROMs and online or telephone tutoring. Students can start and complete the course at any time based on their own availability.

Collège de l'Île also offers flexible tutoring services customized to each client's wants and schedule.
