Participants eligible for a chance to win a $2,000 credit

Wellington (Î.-P.-É.) - Le 5 février 2015 – Collège de l'Île invites prospective students and their parents to visit the College in Wellington, Tuesday, February 17 between 6 pm and 8 pm. Participants in the open house will be added to the draw for a $2,000 credit on tuition for the 2015-2016 academic year.

"A site visit is an opportunity to explore the facilities and ask questions regarding any aspect of the training," according to the president, Donald DesRoches "As the deadline of February 28 approaches, prospective students will be able to find answers to any of their questions to be able to make a conscious decision about their future educational plans."

In September 2015 the College will offer the following full time programs: Bilingual Administrative Assistant, Accounting Clerk, Early Childhood Educator and Assistant, Human Services, Resident Care Worker, Youth Worker and Welding. The Practical Nursing program will start in January 2016.

These programs are also offered on a part-time basis, so students can start a college program while continuing to work. All of these programs lead to exciting careers that are in demand in the province.
