WELLINGTON, PEI, November 29, 2015 – Collège de l'Île invites potential students and their parents to an open house at its Wellington centre next Monday, December 7, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The name of participants in the open house will be added to the draw for a tuition credit of $2,000 for the 2016-2017 school year.
The President of Collège de l'Île, Donald DesRoches, will welcome potential students to the event. “A tour is a chance to see the premises and ask questions on any aspect of training. The February 28 registration deadline is getting closer, so potential students will be able to get all the information they need to make a wise choice.”
In September 2016, the Collège will offer these programs: Bilingual Administrative Assistant, Accounting Clerk, Early Childhood Educator and Early Childhood Assistant, Human Services, Resident Care Worker, Youth Worker and Welder.
Most of these programs are also offered on a part-time basis, so students can undertake college studies while continuing to work. All the programs lead to interesting careers that are in demand in the province. Collège de l'Île’s graduates are bilingual, which is an asset in the Canadian job market.
Interested persons who cannot attend the open house can take a virtual tour of the Wellington centre here: http://www.collegedelile.ca/index.php/en/virtual-tour.
