WELLINGTON, PEI, December 7, 2015 – “During their training, students will acquire all the skills they need to provide administrative support for colleagues and supervisors. Also, at the end of their program students will have an opportunity for a five-week workplace practicum where they will put into practice all the techniques and strategies they have learned,” explained Robert Bullen, instructor in the Bilingual Administrative Assistant program at Collège de l'Île

The Bilingual Administrative Assistant program combines learning business software such as Word, Excel and Access with the skills and knowledge needed to manage a modern office and meet the expectations of various employers. The certificate (one year) and diploma (two years) programs will be offered in September 2016.

“Besides taking a bilingual program that will give them lots of advantages on the job market, students can expect during their training to work in small groups and receive personalized attention from their instructor,” Mr. Bullen said in conclusion.

Anne Poirier, who received her diploma last June, highly recommends Collège de l'Île’s Bilingual Administrative Assistant program to anyone interested in the field. “I found that the instructors were welcoming and dynamic. They knew how to put me at ease, and especially how to help me. I would certainly recommend the program at the Collège.”

During the 2015-2016 academic year, Collège de l'Île will present all of its programs and trainings through testimonials from its instructors, current students and recent graduates. Short videos have also been prepared to round out the campaign. The Collège is happy to present its Bilingual Administrative Assistant program to you and invites you to view the video featuring the program to learn more.
