WELLINGTON, PEI - December 11, 2015 – Collège de l'Île invites students interested in a college education to enter for a chance to win a $2,000 credit toward tuition in a full-time program starting in the 2016-2017 academic year.

“This contest will provide significant financial support allowing a student to get training in order to start a career,” explained the President of the Collège, Donald DesRoches. “The costs of post-secondary education are a major investment, so a credit equivalent to almost half of tuition fees represents a major savings opportunity.”

In September 2016, Collège de l'Île plans to offer the following regular programs: Bilingual Administrative Assistant (certificate and diploma), Accounting Clerk, Early Childhood Educator, Early Childhood Assistant, Human Services, Youth Worker, Resident Care Worker and Welder. The deadline to enrol in these programs, as well as to enter the contest, is February 28, 2016.

“All programs offered at Collège de l'Île are in fields where Island employers are looking for qualified employees and represent one of the best investments you can make to improve your long-term quality of life,” Mr. DesRoches concluded.

To enter the contest, go to Collège de l'Île’s Facebook page and click on the button “Gagne 2000 $” to fill out the entry form. The form can also be downloaded from the Collège’s website HERE. All the contest rules can be found on the Collège’s Facebook page or website.
